I thought I best write a little ditty, just as an overview of why I’ve decided to go on this little blogging venture.
The reason, to share what I have learnt in my journey of intolerance baking. To cut out the endless amount of searching and failed bakes that could happen, by sharing well used and simple but effective bakes that are tried and tested by a regular homemaker.
I’ve seen it written that we ‘abnormal ‘ folk of an intolerant persuasion are fooling ourselves that our bakes are normal……… well no they are not, what they are and can be is as delicious and ‘ non abnormal ‘ as I can possibly make them …………or better ππ
The side benefit is , a lot are also health beneficial, the components make them that way, not something I actually set out to do, but there is always an upside. Mind chocolate is still chocolate and fat is still fat, so moderation and balance is key.
I’m here to guide and help. To be the resource you are after. After all I eat these bakes, and so do my ‘normal ‘ ( well they say they are π) friends and family.
I hear and see, so many times ‘ its good for Gluten Free ‘ on baking forums from regular bakers !!
My dream, is to see ‘ really is it GF, DF, Egg Free, WOW I dont care ‘
To see past the intolerance, the pile of ‘dust ‘π
Not all my bakes here will be fully loaded as Gluten Free , Diary Free and Vegan….( egg free ), but alot will be. I don’t personally need anything bar the Gluten removed, so Gluten Free is my standard bake.
However if there is a recipe published that you want to adapt, feel free to give me a shout, I may have tried and failed or I may just not have had the need, but possibilities are always best shared and talked about.
Intolerance baking, does not cut international boundaries, but neither does standard baking , ingredients and manufacturing processes are different, and availability of products are the key. However there’s always a way, its just pointing you in the right direction.
During my journey here, I want to empower you to take leap of faith in yourself. Yes I will provide you recipes to replicate, that is what some of you will require, but my hope and dream is that I will be able to give the tools to be able to take any standard recipe and modify it with some simple and effective basic tweaks and rules.
Recipes that have been used by thousands not just hundreds on an intolerance site
ive shared these many times when requested, I haven’t had any negative feedback………….AS YET ππππ
This I will do over time and when it is right and i suppose when I’m ready.
I’m not here to tell you what to do, I’m here to advise and empower (my new favourite word ) and direct, but as with everything this is based on my own experience alone
Thank you for listening me droning on, but my passion to , help, share and encourage it has always be my ethos, knowledge is not power unless it is shared to those who require it.
Now because you’ve been really kind here’s one of those pretty picturesπ
This is based on as standard recipe from Live Well Bake Often. A Pumpkin Cream Cheese Crumb Cake. Modified to Gluten Free, Dairy and Vegan………..
I did ,so can you…………want some??????????

Love your Ethos…love your heart! Taking intolerant baking to the next level, empowering folks to take charge of their intolerances and therefore their health…all while sharing the opportunity to create beautiful bakes to be enjoyed. β₯οΈ

Love your ethos, what I find amazing about “intolerant cooking” for me it’s gf as I’m coeliac, is that unless you tell people that it’s gf they eat away until they realise its gf then they turn their noses up even though they have scoffed most of it. Love your recipes esp your decorating.
